A Common Service Center (CSC) is an information and communication technology (ICT) access point created under Digital India programme of the Government of India. The project plan includes the creation of a network of over 250,000 CSCs throughout the country. CSCs are the access points for delivery of various electronic services to villages in India, thereby contributing to a digitally and financially inclusive society. CSCs are positioned as change agents, promoting rural entrepreneurship and building rural capacities and livelihoods.
